Was installed at The Folly Tree Arboretum, in Springs Hamptons in May until October 2023.

The skin of burlap was sewn using a sewing machine in my studio apartment in Brooklyn. The colored elements were crocheted with wool, repurposed lace fabrics and cords are sewn by hand to create patterns and ocean like figures to relate to the surrounding Ocean of the Hamptons. We brought the burlap fabric in the back of the car arrived there during a Saturday morning. With the help of Tucker Marder, Grégoire Cachet, Fanny and Thibault Vatter we filled the doll with soil from the Arboretum. We started laying down the wood chips around the doll with the help of a farm truck. We seeded the doll with: Cosmos, Sunflowers, Yarrow, Purple Haze, Bachelor Button, Helenium Vivace, Summer Lilac, Black Eyed Susan, Butterfly Milkweed and Freedom Red Clover. The most successful plants were the Sunflowers and Cosmos which grew in the arms and boobs of the doll. Some plants died because the holes of the burlap were too tight for the plants to go through.
