people shining
A permanent public art mosaic installation commissioned by the Community Redevelopment Agency of Clearwater, Florida. Through an open call in 2023 this project was selected and it was completed in February 2025. It consists of a mural wall (10’ by 35’ approximately) and 9 planters in a public plaza. The materials are: handmade ceramic pieces, reclaimed tiles, ceramic, glass and porcelain mosaics and paint. The project is inspired by a Latin American fruit market. The design of the mural tells the story of a diverse community who come together to celebrate alongside a garden of fruit trees and the wildlife of Clearwater.
